Year’s first full lunar eclipse to occur today

The first full lunar eclipse of the ongoing year will occur today, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.

Sky watchers are expected to witness the celestial event as the moon will pass through different phases of the eclipse throughout the day.

According to the Met Office, the eclipse will start at 2:50 in the afternoon, while the full eclipse will start at 4:05 PM.

It will be at its peak at 4:34 PM, while it will start concluding at 5:03 PM.

The partial eclipse will conclude at 6:17 PM, while it will be completely over at 7:23 PM.

Besides Pakistan, the eclipse will be visible in Asia, Australia, North and South America and at other places around the world.
