An interesting situation developed when former PTI leader and ex-Punjab minister Fayaz-ul-Hasan Chohan was booed by the PTI workers while he was talking to the media at the premises of an anti-terrorism court (ATC) in Rawalpindi on Saturday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Irked at the distraction, Chohan walked up to the PTI workers and said, “This is incivility that you hoot at a person.”

In response, the workers said they were not aware who he was, and that he must introduce himself to them.

They said to Chohan that if he had shown some courage after the May 9 attacks, he would still have been in the PTI.

However, later, some people intervened, which gave Chohan a chance to walk away from the spot.

Earlier, talking to the media, the ex-PTI leader said that following a letter penned down by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi to the International Monetary Fund (IMF), the cat was out of the bag now. “Because just like Modi, the PTI leaders too had written a letter to the Fund in which they urged the latter not to release the amount to Pakistan,” he said, adding, “This shows that Modi was behind the PTI’s attempt to block the release of funds to the country.”

He further said that the entire nation was united under the leadership of Army Chief General Asim Munir. “Modi, who had been talking about taking revenge on Pakistan for the last few days, has nowhere to hide.”

The Indian prime minister and the country’s media, Chohan went on to say, now openly admitted that they committed a mistake by threatening Pakistan with war, and that Pakistan was stronger than India.

“Our army chief knows fully well how to deal with the country’s enemies within and outside the country. He has foiled all the conspiracies hatched by the Hindus and Jews against Pakistan.”

The ex-PTI leader said the entire world now referred to Gen Asim as ‘Lion of Asia’.
