Punjab govt to construct parking plazas in Lahore
Punjab government decided to start construction of parking plazas in view of parking problems in the Lahore city, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday.
Taking notice of shortage of parking sites, Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif has sought a plan related to parking plazas.
Chairing a special meeting, Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has directed immediate steps to build parking plazas at the places with the most parking problems in the city.
The Chief Minister was briefed that work has been done to build parking plazas at 13 places to deal with parking problems in Lahore city.
Chief Minister also directed to re-evaluate all the identified places.
Directions have been given to start work on parking plazas at Regal Chowk, Town Hall, Circular Road and other places in Lahore.
