Pakistan behaved as a responsible state following Pahalgam false flag operation

Sensing India’s nefarious designs in the wake of the Pahalgam false flag operation in April last year, Pakistan had laid bare its ugly face to the world before India could launch an attack, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.

Pakistan acted like a responsible state and took a clear and principled stance at the United Nations (UN) as the country’s permanent representative to the UN Asim Iftikhar, while giving a speech on May 2, 2025, had declared that India’s illegal actions posed a threat to regional peace.

He had made it clear that Pakistan did not want its relations with India to be tense.

Asim had said categorically that Pakistan was ready to defend its independence, and that any act of water aggression by India would be deemed to be an act of war.

He had further said that Pakistan was ready to accept mediation by the UN so that there could be no further escalation in tensions between the two countries.
