Umar Sharif’s body likely to be flown back to Pakistan today

It is expected that the dead body of legendary comedian Umar Sharif will be flown back to Pakistan from Germany today (Monday), reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The Nuremberg Hospital of Germany on Sunday released the death certificate of the renowned comedian. Umar Sharif passed away in the German hospital on Saturday.

The ailing comedian was being airlifted to America for medical treatment but his health deteriorated midair, so his air ambulance had to make an emergency landing at a German airport. He was immediately admitted to a hospital in Germany where he breathed his last yesterday.

In his twitter post on Saturday, Sindh Minister for Information and Labour Senator Saeed Ghani said that late Umar Sharif would be buried in Hazrat Abdullah Shah Ghazi graveyard as per his wish and the Sindh government is bearing his funeral expenses.

In the latest development, it has been decided that Maulana Bashir Farooqi of Karachi's Silani Welfare will lead the funeral prayers of Umar Sharif which will be held at Umar Sharif Ground near Bilawal House in Karachi.

Maulana Bashir Farooqi on Sunday visited the house of Umar Sharif and accepted his son's request to lead the Namaz-i-Janaza.
Umar Sharif will be buried in the courtyard of Maulana Abdullah Shah Ghazi's mazar (shrine).
