Ashton Agar, Josh Inglis test negative; likely to join Aussie T20 squad

The Australian team Monday received good news before the single T20 match against Pakistan as two of their players – Ashton Agar and Josh Inglis – tested negative for Covid-19, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The Australian team spokesperson said both players had been tested for Covid-19 in the morning, and, they would be tested again in the afternoon.

“If they are tested negative for Covid-19 in the afternoon, both players will train with the team,” he added.

“Both players will be available for the match if they are declared fit after their negative Covid-19 results,” he stated.

It is to be noted here that both Ashton Agar and Josh Inglis were tested positive for Covid-19 before the ODI series against Pakistan.
