'Ertugrul’ star Cengiz Coskun also known as Turgut Alp recently made his Pakistani fans happy when he appeared in a show hosted by Waseem Badami and former Pakistan cricket captain Shahid Khan Afridi on the third day of Eidul Azha.
In the interview, Turgul Alp talked about his role and journey while shooting the hit Turkish series.
When Shahid Afridi was asked about the serial, Lala said: “One year back I saw the drama serial ‘Ertugrul’ and shared it with my fans on twitter. I watched the whole season in 40 days. My daughters always used to say you are not giving us attention. And I used to tell them Ertugrul is an addiction which made me sit at home.”

When Turgul Alp was asked did he watch the whole season in one go, to which he said: “Yes I saw it in one go. I used to see how my acting is in the serial. Before starting the serial shooting I had to learn horse riding for three months. I broke my elbow while practising how to throw axe.”
“I love Pakistani people and I am hugging them. I am a big fan of Lala Shahid Afridi and soon will be meeting him,” he said.
Speaking about working with both wives in the serial, Turgul, named as one-man army by his social media fans, said: “I loved working with my first wife in the serial more rather than the second one. At the end first love never dies,” he said.
About the serial, Turgul said: “We tried to make the serial into reality. We never wanted to give it the shape of a documentary. We all actors with producer decided to give it a drama feel rather than a documentary.”
