The Islamabad High Court (IHC) Chief Justice Athar Minallah made public the details of perks and privileges provided to IHC CJ and its judges’ on the orders of Pakistan Information Commission, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The IHC Registrar wrote a letter to the Law Secretary on behalf of IHC CJ Athar Minallah and was briefed that IHC CJ did not apply or receive any plot from the government's scheme.  

“As per the June 2 order of PIC on an application of a citizen, the details of the perks and privileges of IHC CJ and judges have been made public,” he added.

The letter reads, “Perks and Privileges always provided with a Presidential Order which is now made public on ICH website.”

The Presidential Order reads, “There shall be paid to the Chief Justice of a High Court a salary Rs.863,069 per mensem and to every other Judge of a High Court a salary of Rs.829,875 per mensem.”
