Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leader and former opposition leader in the National Assembly Khursheed Shah Wednesday challenged the Sindh High Court (SHC) decision of rejecting his bail in the Supreme Court.

According to the 24News HD TV channel, he filed a petition in the SC against the decision of the Sindh High Court in the case of assets in excess of income.

He appealed the SC that the 27th of July decision of the SHC should be declared null and void and he should be released on bail.

The PPP leader said in his bail application that the SHC had not properly reviewed the facts while rejecting the bail application in his case

The SHC had rejected the bail application of the detained political leader on July 27, 2021.
