Establishment Division notifies more transfers and postings

The federal government on Thursday notified a series of new postings and transfers involving officers from various departments, with the Establishment Division releasing multiple official notifications.

The reshuffle includes appointments on secondment, returns of officers to their parent departments, and new deputations to federal institutions.

According to the notifications, the prime minister has approved the appointment of Lieutenant Colonel Zahid Hussain as Director Legal, Ministry of Defence. His appointment has been made on a secondment basis, replacing Lieutenant Colonel Kafeel Khan, who previously held the position.

In another major move, Sajid Khan, an Additional Directing Staff at the National Institute of Public Administration and a Grade-18 officer of Pakistan Customs Service, has been transferred, with his services returned to the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) in Islamabad.

The services of DSP Ehsan-ul-Haq, a Grade-17 officer of Azad Kashmir Police serving at the National Police Academy, have also been returned to the Azad Kashmir government.

The Establishment Division further announced that Muhammad Azeem Haider, a Section Officer at the Ministry of National Food Security, has been transferred and posted as Section Officer, Petroleum Division.

Meanwhile, several officers have been posted on deputation to federal bodies:

Almas Sabih, a Grade-17 officer of the Punjab Provincial Management Service, has been deputed to the Federal Government Employees Housing Authority (FGEHA), Islamabad, for three years.

Tauseef Tariq, an Education Department officer from Azad Kashmir, has been posted as a lecturer on deputation to the Federal Directorate of Education (FDE), Islamabad, for three years.

Shah Nawaz Briro, Senior Data Processing Officer of the Sindh government, has been posted as Assistant Director, Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP), on deputation.
