It’s okay to wait: Maya Ali shares empowering advice for women

Maya Ali shares an empowering message for women to embrace self-acceptance, trust their timing and find strength in their personal journey.

The actress posted a reel in which a woman spoke candidly about societal pressures on women regarding marriage and children.

“I’m 36, I’m not married, and I don’t have kids. Lately, I’ve been greeted a lot with people saying, ‘Oh!’” the woman said in the reel.

“There are many women who probably need to hear that it’s okay to not have that at this point in your life.

Many people in my life settle down and have kids, which is beautiful, and I know that will be a part of my life eventually.

“But I believe there are big lessons to learn in being alone at this stage of your life. There’s nothing wrong with it. I’m willing to bet that you’re moving toward something really amazing. So, enjoy your time with yourself.

“I trust the timing of my life. When it all happens, I’ll understand why it had to happen this way. Basically, don’t compare your journey to anyone else’s.”

After watching the reel, Maya Ali shared the message with her followers on Instagram, saying: “Basically, don’t compare your journey to someone else!! Your timing is different, your story is different!!”

The actress’s words serve as a reminder that life unfolds differently for everyone, and embracing one’s own journey can lead to personal growth and fulfilment.

Maya Ali began her career as a video jockey before making her drama debut in Durr-e-Shehwar in 2012. She later rose to fame with hit dramas such as Aun Zara, Mann Mayal, Diyar-e-Dil, and Jo Bichar Gaye.
