LHC chief justice meets CJP Afridi in Islamabad
Justice Dogar replaces Justice Kayani as administrative judge
Lahore High Court (LHC) Chief Justice (CJ) Justice Aalia Neelum on Tuesday called on Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Justice Yahya Afridi in Islamabad, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Different judicial matters, including the transfer of three judges to the Islamabad High Court (IHC), came under discussion at the meeting.
Federal Law Minister Azam Nazir Tarar was also present on the occasion.
Meanwhile, in an important development, Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kiani of the IHC was removed from the position of Administrative Judge of the accountability and anti-terrorism courts on Tuesday, and Justice Sarfaraz Dogar was made the administrative judge in his place instead.
In this connection, an office order was issued with the approval of the high court Chief Justice (CJ) Justice Aamer Farooq.
