Four-year-old missing girl found raped in Kasur

A four-year-old missing girl was found raped in Kasur on Tuesday night, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday.

The incident took place near Rohi Nullah in the Mustafabad area of Kasur.

The girl was admitted to Lahore General Hospital (LGH). The hospital MS, Prof Faryad Hussain, confirmed that the minor girl was subjected to rape, adding she was out of danger and being examined by gynecologists in the hospital.

A medical team under the supervision of Dr Azhar Alam was constituted.

On the complaint of Mustafabad SHO, police have registered a case and are looking for her parents or family members.

According to Kasur DPO, a team under SP Investigation was probing the matter, and announcements were being made in mosques to find her parents or family members.

The DPO said police were getting assistance from CCTV cameras to reach out to the culprit or culprits, who sexually assaulted the girl before throwing her near Rohi Nullah. He hoped police would soon trace the perpetrators.
