Fazl says JUI will not compromise on protection of madrasas
A delegation of prominent scholars from Rawalpindi, Islamabad met JUI-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman. Maulana Fazlur Rehman assures cooperation in protecting madrasas and mosques.
JUI-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman has said that JUI will not compromise on the protection of madrasas and government should vigorously oppose any conspiracy against madrasas under external pressure.
Talking to a delegation of ulema in Islamabad, Maulana Fazl said this attitude against religious madrasas was not their own but an external agenda to incite religious youth to fight the state.
Fazl said the government bid to limit the role of madrasas is actually proof that some forces do not want to see such Sharia experts in the country who can legislate according to Sharia.

Fazl expressed concerns over government measures to demolish mosques and madrasas in Rawalpindi, Islamabad. JUI Islamabad also held considerations on large protest demonstration in Islamabad over delay in madrasa registration due to government malice.
