Preparations for the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf’s (PTI) public gathering at Upper Dir, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), which is due to be held today, are almost complete as stage has been set and chairs have been arranged at the venue, while the party workers have already started to trickle in, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday.
Former prime minister and PTI Chairman is expected to make some important announcements at the event.
Imran, who has been staying in Peshawar prior to the long march on Islamabad on May 25, has restricted his political activities to KP only.
Although, he stopped short of holding a sit-in at Islamabad’s Red Zone along with thousands of PTI marchers and directed them to return to their homes, he has not ruled out the possibility of yet another march on the federal capital in near future and has been keeping the momentum of his political activities since then.
