Androulla Kaminara, European Union Ambassador in Pakistan called on Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi in Islamabad on Wednesday and discussed trade issues and political cooperation between Pakistan and the EU.

The EU Ambassador lauded Pakistan for its strong commitment to the action plan of the Financial Action Task Force (FATF).

She assured EU's help to Pakistan in establishing technical facilities for combating money laundering and terrorism financing.

During the meeting, the foreign minister highlighted grave human rights violations being done by the Indian troops in occupied Kashmir.

He also apprised the ambassador about the Indian government’s discriminatory Citizenship Amendment Act and its political outfall.
