Court grants interim bail to Pervaiz Elahi

An anti-terrorism court (ATC) in Lahore Thursday granted interim bail to former Punjab chief minister Pervaiz Elahi till May 11 next, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The bail was granted to Pervaiz Elahi on the condition of submitting Rs50,000 worth of surety bonds in the case of resisting the police raid on his house and attacking policemen.
ATC judge Ijaz Ahmed Buttar conducted the hearing. Pervaiz Elahi appeared before the court in person. His lawyers filed a plea for granting interim bail to him.
