Millie Bobby Brown calls Wedding Prank her "best acting" yet

Stranger Things star Millie Bobby Brown has revealed what she considers the best acting performance of her career—and it didn’t happen on screen.

During a March appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, the 21-year-old actress shared a clever prank she pulled on a paparazzo ahead of her wedding to Jake Bongiovi. Reflecting on the moment, Brown recounted how she staged an emotional scene during a fake wedding dress fitting to throw off a photographer trying to sneak a preview of her bridal gown.

“I went into the wedding dress fitting and I put my wedding dress on. There was a big glass window, and I thought she could see through it,” Brown explained. “So I was like, ‘Oh my gosh, she knows what my wedding dress looks like and then Jake’s gonna see it.’ I was so terrified.”

Thinking fast, Brown put on a completely different dress—one nothing like her actual gown—and walked out pretending to be overwhelmed with joy. “I’m gonna walk out and I’m gonna start fake crying, pretending that I found the gown. She got the whole thing and it sold. She thought she got some quality. Well, let me just tell you right now, it definitely wasn't. I tricked you.”

A clip from the show then showed Brown in a mermaid-style dress declaring, “This is my dress!” before she cheekily confessed, “It was the best [acting] of my career.”

The actress, known for her breakout role as Eleven, has long demonstrated her talents on screen—but this off-camera performance might be her most impressive yet.
