Authorities have made a massive reshuffle in Punjab Police. A total of 18 senior police officers, including CCPO, has been transferred and posted, a notification said on Thursday.

Fayyaz Ahmad Dev has replaced CCPO Ghulam Mahmood Dogar while the latter has been posted additional Inspector General of Police, Logistic and Procurement, CPO Punjab, Lahore. It added: Shahid Hanif, Additional Inspector General of Police, Logistic & Procurement is transferred and posted as Additional Inspector General of Police, Punjab Highway Police (PHP) Punjab against an existing vacancy..

Munir Ahmed Shaikh, Deputy Inspector General of Police, Crimes, Investigation Branch, Punjab, Lahore, is hereby assigned to look after the work of the post of Additional Inspector General of Police, Investigation Branch, Punjab, in addition to his own duties, till the posting of a regular incumbent.

Shariq Jamal, Deputy Inspector General of Police, Investigation Lahore 1s hereby transferred and directed to report to Services & General Administration Department, Government of Punjab, with immediate effect. Shahzada Sultan, Deputy Inspector General of Police, Headquarters, CPO Punjab, Lahore, is hereby transferred and posted as Deputy Inspector General of Police, Investigation, Lahore, Shariq Jamal.

Muhammad Zubair Dareshak, Regional Police Officer, Bahawalpur Region, is hereby transferred and posted as DIG, Headquarters, CPO Punjab, Lahore. Sher Akbar, Deputy Inspector General of Police, Establishment-I, CPO Punjab,  Lahore, is transferred and posted as Regional Police Officer, Bahawalpur Region.
