Strong earthquake jolts various Punjab cities

A strong earthquake jolted a number of cities of in Punjab including Lahore a little before Thursday noon, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
According to report, the earthquake tremors were felt in Jhelum, Kharian, Sarai Alamgir, Sangla Hill, Nankana Sahib, Jalalpur Bhattian, Gujrat, Pattoki, Farooqabad, Arifwala, Dina and Lala Musa.
The intensity of the earthquake was recorded at 5.1 on the Richter scale while the depth of the earthquake was reported at 15 kilometers.
The seismological center said that the epicenter of the earthquake was recorded near Kharian.
