Under-custody dacoits killed in Lahore ‘shootout’

Lahore Police Wednesday claimed that two suspected dacoits were killed by their colleagues in the Kahna area when a police party brought the suspects to village Halloki to identify their hideout, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday.
The police said that the killed dacoits were involved in multiple crimes.
Interestingly, the dacoits’ colleagues opened fire at the police party, resultantly killing under-custody dacoits — Sajid Hussain (25) and Abdul Rehman (23). The colleague dacoits later managed to flee from the village.
Both the slain dacoits were arrested by the CIA Police Model Town.
The police said that when police personnel opened fire then the attackers fled away due to the darkness.
The police vowed to arrest the fleeing suspects and have erected additional pickets in the area to nab them.
Bodies of the suspected dacoits have been shifted to Jinnah Hospital.
