Verdict on acquittal pleas of co-accused in Ishaq Dar’s case on Jan 19

An accountability court (AC) in Islamabad on Wednesday could not give its verdict on the acquittal applications filed by co-accused in Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader and former federal finance minister Ishaq Dar’s assets beyond sources of income case, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The court will now decide the fate of the acquittal applications filed by Saeed Ahmed, Naeem Mehmood and Mansoor Raza on January 19. 

Meanwhile, the accountability court has received the record of the reference filed in the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) against Dar from the Islamabad High Court. 

AC Judge Muhammad Bashir conducted the hearing.
