Woman abducts 3 month old baby from Karachi’s Civil Hospital

A three-month-old baby was abducted from Civil Hospital Karachi, in a case that has shocked the city, 24NewsHD TV reported on Monday.

According to the mother, the infant had been unwell on December 24.

While heading to a nearby hospital for treatment, she stopped at Miran Naka to feed the baby.

A passerby woman assured the mother that the child would receive complete medical care.

The next day, December 25, the mother accompanied the woman and her baby to Civil Hospital.

The baby received a drip and other medical treatment at the pediatric department.

However, while the mother was arranging the discharge, the woman allegedly took the baby and fled the hospital.

Police have registered a case at Aeedgah Police Station and started an investigation. 

They are urging anyone with information to come forward to help recover the child safely.

The video also shows the woman, accompanied by a man, carrying the baby wrapped in clothing as they exited the hospital.

Officials noted that the faces of both the woman and the man are clearly visible in the footage, which is being used to track down the suspects.
