NA committee summons Sindh IG, FIA, and ANF chiefs in Mustafa Amir murder case
The sub-committee of the National Assembly Standing Committee on Interior has summoned Sindh Inspector General (IG) Ghulam Nabi Memon on Friday to provide a detailed briefing on the Mustafa Amir murder case at the Karachi CPO office, according to an official notification.
The committee has also summoned the Director General (DG) of the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), the DG of the Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF), and the Secretary of Excise and Taxation to appear before the sub-committee for questioning.
Committee convener Abdul Qadir Patel and other members will question the Sindh IG on the progress made so far in the investigation.
"We will not allow society to be left at the mercy of drug dealers," Patel stated, emphasizing that protecting the youth is a collective responsibility.
The case has garnered significant attention, with lawmakers demanding swift action against those responsible. The investigation continues, as authorities push for accountability and justice in the matter.
