Australia's High Commissioner to Pakistan Dr Geoffrey Shaw has said that another commercial flight of PIA to fly from Karachi to Sydney to repatriate Australians from Pakistan.

In a tweet, he wrote: “We have been able to facilitate a 2nd non-scheduled commercial flight with PIA_official. The flight will depart Karachi on 10 May, arriving in Sydney on 11 May. Bookings need to be made directly with a PIA Sales Office.”

The diplomat said that he knew many Australians were desperate to go back to their country. He lauded the Pakistan government for facilitating the repatriation of his countrymen.
