The young climber of the country, Shehroze Kashif, has set another record by hoisting the flag on the world's third-highest peak, Kanchenjunga.

According to the 24NewsHD TV channel, the 8,568m high peak is located in Nepal. The 20-year-old Pakistani became the world's youngest and first Pakistani climber to summit the third highest peak. Earlier, he conquered Mount Everest and K2.

Last year, he successfully climbed Mount Everest as a part of Seven Summit Treks - Everest Expedition 2021.

An update on Kashif’s Facebook page said, “ALHAMDULILLAH ALHAMDULILLAH. Received the text confirmation from Shehroze Kashif. History has been made !!!!!!!!! Ma Sha Allah Shehroze has summited Everest.”

Hailing from Lahore, Kashif’s interest in trekking developed at a young age after he accompanied his father on an outdoor trip.

“The strongest thing in the world is the human mind, you cannot beat it. If your brain stops working at a higher altitude, that’s a big thing.  You have to train yourself for those conditions,” he said in an interview.
