Man kills father with shovel blow in Multan

In a horrific incident, an angered man killed his father by hitting him with a shovel on the head in Multan on Wednesday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The incident took place in the jurisdiction of Jalalpur Pirwala Police Station. The deceased was identified as Khadim Hussain.

Police said the father scolded his son, after which the son became annoyed and decided to take revenge.

The accused, namely Fakal Sher, escaped from the scene soon after the incident. A heavy contingent of police rushed to the spot and started the necessary procedure.

Earlier on October 25, 2025, a man was killed, while two others sustained injuries after being hit by a train near the railway underpass in Multan.

According to Rescue-1122 official, the deceased was crossing the railway track while listening to his mobile phone when a train approaching from the side hit and crushed him.

Two passersby, who attempted to rescue him after noticing the oncoming train, were also injured as they fell to the ground.

Rescue teams reached the spot and shifted the victims to Nishtar Hospital. The identity of the deceased could not be ascertained till the filing of this report, while the injured persons were under treatment.
