The ex-Federal Interior Minister and leader of Awami Muslim League Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed took to his Twitter and hinted at the threat of Pakistan being defaulted, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Sheikh Rasheed, in his tweet, said that despite the International Monetary Fund (IMF) program, Pakistan is at the risk of being a defaulter.

On urgent grounds, a hefty investment of US$12 billion is needed. The country is not getting any further loans and has lost the ability to repay, said the ex-interior minister.

Sheikh further said that slavery of the IMF and salute to imperialism has become our fate.

Also criticized the opposition and defended the ex-Premier Imran Khan, Sh Rasheed said the rallies done by PML (N) are acceptable but the ones done by Khan are unacceptable.
