Nurses’ strike paralyses Lahore hospital

The nursing staff at Jinnah Hospital in Lahore has staged a strike on Tuesday paralyzing the whole health facility amid the raging third wave of coronavirus, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Rejecting the newly appointed board of governors, the nurses protested the non-issuance of their promotion letters by Hospital Director Seemi Jamali.
The whole hospital came to standstill due to the strike of the nurses who stopped work in almost all departments including the vaccination centres.
