Lahore ranks second again among most-polluted cities

Lahore's air remains polluted as the provincial capital ranked second among the most polluted cities with recorded air quality index 226, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Friday.

According to report, air quality index recorded at MM Alam was 326 while at Askari-10 was 266 and at Johar Town was 264, DHA Phase-8 was 249 and in Cantt area was 226.

However, experts advised citizens to take precautionary measures.

Current temperature of the city is recorded 11 degrees Celsius and a maximum of 23 and a minimum of 8 degrees are expected.

Humidity ratio in the air is 70 percent and winds are blowing at a speed of 5 kilometers per hour.

Metrological Department said the weather in the city will remain cold and dry. 

According to the Meteorological Department, there is no possibility of rain in the city.
