10 years old Tayyab Hussain, a student of Wahdat Islamia School, was brutally tortured by the teacher at Kot Lakhpat, Lahore, reported 24NewsHD TV Channel on Monday.

According to the police sources, accused Tahir tortured Tayyab Hussain for not learning the lesson.

Tayyab Hussain was the student of grade 2. He faced the teacher’s violence as he had been tortured with sticks. Tayyab got bruises on his back and other body parts.

The victim’s father Muhammad Hussain has approached the court for justice. His mother has appealed the government for justice.

According to Zain Arshad Sandhu Advocate, the accused was arrested and handed over to the investigation wing where he was being investigated.

Child Protection and Welfare Bureau Chairperson Sarah Ahmed also took notice of the incident.

“The incident of alleged violence on a 10-year-old child by a teacher is sad," Sara Ahmed.

“Strict legal action will be taken against the accused," Sara Ahmed added.
