25 notorious terrorists surrender in Balochistan
Security forces have achieved a significant success in Operation Radd-ul-Fitna in Balochistan, as 25 notorious terrorists have surrendered and laid down their arms, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Friday.
The development comes as a result of joint efforts by security forces and Mir Aftab Bugti, the brother of Chief Minister of Balochistan, Mir Sarfaraz Bugti, aimed at restoring peace and stability in the province.
According to details, a group involved in terrorism, looting, and other criminal activities surrendered before the State of Pakistan. The group, led by Mirak Khan Chakrani, laid down arms along with twenty-five associates.
It had previously been involved in incidents of robbery and extortion. The militants also handed over a large quantity of weapons and ammunition to the authorities.
Mirak Khan Chakrani has also announced joining the "Chakrani Peace Force" to support efforts against extremist elements.
Officials said the group had previously been involved in robbery, extortion, and other criminal activities in the region.
The effective strategy adopted under Operation Radd-ul-Fitna will encourage other militant and criminal elements in Balochistan to surrender to the state in the near future.
