Sports and political figures attend funeral prayer
Mother of legendary Pakistani offspinner Saeed Ajmal passes away in Faisalabad on Tuesday, reported 24NewsHD TV channe.
Her funeral prayers were offered at the main Ghulam Muhammad Graveyard in Faisalabad, where a large number of people gathered to pay their final respects.
The funeral was attended by several political, social, and sports personalities, reflecting the respect and admiration held for Saeed Ajmal and his family.
Among the notable attendees were former MNA Khawaja Islam, caretaker Iqbal Stadium official Naveed Nazir, former Test cricketers Wasim Haider and Salman Ali, and District Cricket Association General Secretary Muhammad Haseeb.
Club coaches Sabir Hussain, Zaish Imran Ali,and Farrukh Shahzad, along with many others from the local cricket fraternity, were also present.
The cricketing community expressed deep sorrow over the loss and extended heartfelt condolences to Saeed Ajmal and his family, praying for eternal peace for the departed soul and strength for the bereaved family to bear the loss.
