Efforts on to woo disgruntled Balochs, says Fawad Chaudhry

Information and Broadcasting Fawad Chaudhry has said efforts to woo disgruntled Balochs are on, 24NewHD TV Channel reported on Tuesday.

Balochistan is of vital importance for CPEC and peace in the province will be restored soon, Fawad Ch said while briefing the media about the federal cabinet meeting.  

The minister said reaching out to the estranged Balochs is Prime Minister Imran Khan's vision and expressed hope it will bring harmony and tranquility.

The civil aviation association has been made a regulatory body, the minister said and shared with the media about a suggestion of giving remuneration to mosque imams in the federal capital.

He also shared with the media his party economic feats and anti-coronavirus combat.  He said the prime minister took serious notice of excessive protocol of government figures and ordered reduction in the practice to the minimum level.

PM Imran Khan directed ensuring 3G and 4G internet services in Gilgit-Baltistan, Balochistan, and merged districts of KP the minister told the media. He said these services have already been provided in all the tribal districts.

He said the Capital Development Authority has been asked to take special step to protect green areas in Islamabad.

Earlier, the federal cabinet gave go-ahead to fix retail price of covid vaccine and had a briefed about step to get loan tranches released.

The cabinet approved Civil Aviation Authority and Airport Authority Ordinance, ICT Authority Act and amendment to ICT Maintenance of Public Order Ac while it deferred EOBI chairman's posting on a contractual basis.
