Father and wife of Hassan Shakir

The law-enforcement agencies (LEAs) have succeeded in arresting yet another person who was involved in incidents of violence on May 9, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Thursday.

Father and wife of Hassan Shakir, the miscreant, have said that what happened on that ill-fated day should have never happened.

Hassan’s father has said that he and other members of the family are deeply saddened and want to show their solidarity with Pakistan Army. “The armed forces of Pakistan are our pride,” he has said, adding, “They perform duties on borders so that we could sleep at night peacefully. Whosoever has done this is strongly condemnable.” 

Hassan’s wife, on the other hand, has said that it would be her advice to the nation to stay away from those who indulge in anti-army propaganda.

Thousands of people went wild after hearing news of the arrest of their leader, PTI Chairman Imran Khan on May 9.

They took to the streets in several cities of the country, attacked and vandalized government and military installations besides setting several of these on fire.
