All debris at Lyari building collapse site will be cleared today: CM

Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah on Sunday said that all the rubble of the collapsed building in Lyari will be removed and the rescue operation will be completed today, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Talking with media persons in Karachi, the Sindh Chief Minister said that “our topmost priority is to rescue as many alive people as we can from the debris.” He expressed his heartfelt grief and sorrow over the tragic Lyari incident in which 27 people lost their lives.

Syed Murad Ali Shah said that fool-proof security ensured for all Muharram process across the province.

The Sindh Chief Minister said that Sindh police are already on high alert. Murad Ali Shah said that as many as 1474 Muharram processions will be taken out in Sindh.

He said that 50,000 police personnel will be deputed for the security of the Muharram processions in the province.

The Sindh Chief Minister said that keeping law and order under control is his government’s top priority.
