Turkish religious delegation’s visit to Lahore deferred

The visit of a Turkish Ministry of Religious Affairs delegation to Lahore was postponed after the team head Dr Ali Erbaş contracted coronavirus, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday.
Ali Erbaş is a Turkish Muslim scholar and president of the Directorate of Religious Affairs (Diyanet) in Turkey.
The TV channel reported that the Turkish delegation was scheduled to visit the Lahore Fort, Badshahi Mosque, Minar-e-Pakistan at Greater Iqbal Park, Masjid Wazir Khan and historic Lahore Museum.
The Turkish delegation also scheduled to meet the Punjab Governor and Chief Minister.
