A video of a Pakistani woman celebrating her divorce went viral on social media, showcasing her joy at the separation from her husband. In the video, the woman ripped off photos of her former spouse and cut a cake inscribed with the words “Happy Divorce.” Dressed in festive attire, she gleefully snipped her red bridal veil with scissors.

The video sparked mixed reactions online, with some critics arguing that such behavior could normalise divorce in society and undermine the sanctity of marriage. However, an increasing number of people are celebrating their divorces, a trend that has gained popularity, particularly among women seeking to embrace their freedom from toxic relationships. Previously, another woman in a traditional lehenga went viral for dancing to Bollywood songs at her own divorce party. 

Her friends, in the video, can also be seen cheering and expressing their happiness after the divorce. Some social media channels reported that the bizarre incident took place in India.
