More transfers and postings notified

The federal government on Wednesday issued fresh orders regarding transfers and postings of officers, including an extension in the tenure of a senior official in the finance ministry and a deputation posting in the health education sector.

According to official notifications released by the Establishment Division, the tenure of Iftikhar Amjad, currently serving as Joint Secretary in the Ministry of Finance, has been extended for a two years. The extension will be effective from January 31, 2026, to January 30, 2028.

In a separate development, the services of Dr. Iram Siddique have been placed at the disposal of Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto Medical University. She has been appointed on deputation for a period of three years as a demonstrator at the institution.

Prior to this posting, Dr. Iram was serving as a Dental Surgeon (Grade 17) in the Health Department of the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

The notifications are part of routine administrative measures aimed at managing and strengthening institutional capacity across federal and provincial departments.
