Dar holds contacts with FMs of Norway, Bahrain and Egypt
Deputy Prime Minister/Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar held a telephone conversation this evening with the Foreign Minister of Norway, Espen Barth Eide. Both sides discussed recent developments in the Middle East and the wider region.
Earlier, Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar held a telephone conversation with Bahraini Foreign Minister Dr. Abdul Latif Al-Zayani. According to Foreign Office spokesperson, both leaders expressed deep concern over the current situation in the region.
Foreign Office Spokesperson said the ongoing issues in the UN Security Council were also discussed. The parties stressed the importance of establishing peace and stability.
Earlier, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar has held telephone conversation with Egypt's Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty and discussed the latest regional developments. Both the leaders underscored the need for de-escalation and dialogue. They also agreed to stay closely engaged as the satiation evolves.
