Scam of setting up matric exam centers for money revealed in Karachi
An alleged scam of setting up matriculation examination centers and collection of money in the name of centers was revealed in Karachi, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.
Allegations of taking hundreds of thousands of rupees for posting of students in examination centers also surfaced.
WhatsApp message and voice note attributed to the head of the Teachers Association claimed to have been leaked.
Sentences like “code has been entered so make payment” surfaced in the alleged voice message.
Sending account numbers and asking for money for posting schools also revealed.
Money allegedly demanded for centers in Gadap, Surjani, Scheme 33 and Taiser Town.
In this regard, handwritten posting list also surfaced and codes of different schools recorded.
Details of sending students of private and government schools to specific examination centers was also exposed.
Alleged list of appointing separate centers for female students also exposed.
The person named in the allegations denied setting up centers or postings.
However, clear explanation regarding voice message and screenshot could not be revealed.
