Summer vacations in Punjab extended by August 31

Punjab School Education Department has officially confirmed that summer vacations has been extended from August 14 to August 31, 2025, reported 24NewsHDTV Channel. 

Punjab Education Minister Rana Skindar Hayat has confirmed that summer vacations have been extended and now schools will open on first September 2025.  

Earlier a notification, which surfaced on social media platforms, claimed that all public and private schools in Punjab would remain closed until the end of August due to severe weather conditions. However, the department has labeled the document as “FAKE” and urged the public not to believe or share unverified information.
