An anti-terrorism court (ATC) in Lahore on Wednesday granted interim bail to 30 suspects nominated in different cases of violence that took place on May 9 in Kasur until June 15, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

ATC Judge Ijaz Ahmad Buttar heard the cases.

Earlier, police, which had removed terrorism-related clauses from these cases, revisited its decision following investigation and inserted them again.

As many as 17 suspects, including Sajid Mehmood, Abdur Rehman, Sardar Nabi Ahmad, Khatm Shahzad, Adeel and Muzammil, had filed bail petitions in the cases registered at Kot Radha Kishan while 13 suspects, including Anwar Ali, Hassan Irfan, Ziaur Rehman and Muhammad Nadeem, had filed petitions in the cases registered at Raja Jang.
