Private mills doubled price of flour 

Despite the crushing season and the government fixing the price of wheat, the flour of private companies has become twice as expensive, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.
According to report, the price of flour per kg has been fixed by private companies at Rs180 to Rs200 and a five-kilogram bag of flour is being sold for Rs900 to Rs1000.
Flour of different brands of private companies is being sold for Rs7200 to Rs8000 per 40 kg.
Wheat is being sold for up to Rs4000 per 40 kg in the Lahore open market.
Private companies are selling flour at double the price of wheat.
Citizens demanded that effective steps should be taken to prevent excessive profiteering in the sale of flour.
