Man handed life imprisonment, fine for murdering childless daughter-in-law

A Sessions Court in Attock sentenced a convict to life imprisonment and a fine of Rs500,000 for murdering his daughter-in-law over her inability to conceive, reported 24NewsHDTV Channel. 

Sessions Judge Attock Zafar Iqbal pronounced the verdict after the prosecution confirmed that Waris Khan had shot and killed his daughter in law Najma Alam in 2023 over her inability to give birth to a child. 

Hasan Abdal Police Station has registered against the accused and arrested him. Speaking on the matter, DPO Attock emphasized that the police remain committed to ensuring justice through effective investigations and professional expertise.
