No proposal for online classes in Punjab schools under consideration: Minister

Punjab Education Minister Rana Sikandar Hayat said that there is no proposal to conduct online classes in schools is under consideration, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday.

Provincial Education Minister said annual examinations in government schools are starting from March 9 while annual matriculation examinations are starting from March 27. 

Rana Sikandar Hayat said after matriculation, examinations are to be held in colleges and universities in the last week of April.

Intermediate Part-I and Part-II annual examinations will be held in May, Rana Sikandar Hayat said.

He said after Intermediate, O and A level examinations of private institutions will be held. 

Education Minister said preparation for annual examinations is not possible through online classes. 

Rana Sikandar Hayat said activities will continue as usual in all educational institutions.
