A senior Foreign Service officer in Ukraine was dismissed from service over harassment charges and misconduct on Wednesday.

Waqar Ahmed, grade-18 officer in Pakistan embassy in Ukraine, was dismissed from service for harassing a local female employee and misconduct. A thorough probe was done into the matter and later it was established that Waqar Ahmed harassed the female staff member. On which, the foreign secretary dismissed him.
