PPP leader Nisar Ahmad Khuhro has taken a swipe at former prime minister Imran Khan for what he called damaging the national economy and creating anarchy, 24NewsHD TV channel reported.

Addressing a rally, he said this is not a bad time for PPP as Imran Khan faced defeat in Sindh and in Multan PPP candidates in the recent by-polls.

He heaped praise on the people of Sindh and the PPP members for standing firm against all odds during devastating flooding.

“I salute the people of Sindh. The people of Sindh bravely faced the calamity. I salute the workers of the party of Sindh who extended help to flood hit people,” he added

He listed the sacrifices made by the Bhutto family for the sake of democracy said Bilawal is a ray of hope for the people of Pakistan

He said Imran Khan disappeared when the people were drowning. He questioned the spending of funds Imran Khan gathered during the telethon and stressed that Imran Khan stole Toshakhana gifts and public money.

"As Imran Khan reached the power corridor for the first time, he went crazy. The PTI chief’s aide abandoned him due to his stubbornness.

Imran Khan went for smearing when the army refused to back his illegal and undemocratic acts."
