Army men launch rescue operation in Harnai

The troops of the Pakistan Army have reached the remote mountainous city of Harnai to carry out a rescue operation after a 5.7 magnitude earthquake struck Balochistan in the wee hours of Thursday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

According to a press release issued by the ISPR, the troops of the Pakostam Army reached Harnai, the worst-effected area and started rescue and relief operation

The Army men have started distributing eatable items and other necessary things among the quake-hit people.

The Pak Army’s doctors and paramedical staff have also reached Harnai with a supply of necessary medicines with them. 

The ISPR further said that 9 severely injured people were airlifted to Quetta in a helicopter.
