Weekly inflation rises by 0.29 percent

The sensitive price index (SPI) for the current week ended on 6th October has recorded an increase of 0. 29 percent as compared to the previous week, reported 24NewsHd TV Channel.
According to the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS) data, the weekly inflation rate reached 30.61 percent while it was during the last week 30.62 percent.
The PBS data shows that during the week, out of 51 items, 17 items’ prices were increased, 14 items decreased, and 20 items remained unchanged.
The report shows an increase in the price of tomato that is increased by 48.45 per kg and the price of onion has been increased by 12.69 per kg. The prices of bananas, eggs, and mutton became expensive. Likewise, jaggery, fresh milk, and rice prices have also increased.
In the recent week, the prices of 14 essential goods decreased. Petrol decreased by Rs 12.62 per liter, diesel by Rs 12.9 per liter, Masoor by Rs 16. 23 per kg, Chickpea by Rs 7. 90, mash by Rs 6.45 per kg,
Moong by Rs 2. 47 and chicken by Rs 1.53 per kg.
During the week, prices of 20 essential commodities remained stable.
